With the recent sell-out of Cala Dei, luxury Gold Coast buyers are looking at the remaining stock in other recently announced off-the-plan developments.

Brisbane-based developer Spyre Group stunned the market with a sell-out of Cala Dei at Greenmount just four weeks after its online launch.

“It’s definitely solidified our commitment to the Gold Coast, and due to the nature of Cala Dei’s sell out we have proceeded to acquire a further two beachfront sites that we intend to launch in the second half of this year,” said Spyre Group director Andrew Malouf.

Situated at Coolangatta, the exclusive collection of two and three-bedroom residences sold for an average of $1.9 million, with 11 sales recording a purchase price over $2.5 million.

The penthouse, which sold for $7.1 million to a local family, is the second highest price ever fetched for an apartment south of Mermaid Beach.

The majority of residences were sold to local buyers from South-East Queensland, attributing 55 per cent of the sales, while 42 per cent of apartments sold to interstate buyers. Just one apartment was sold to an international buyer from Singapore.

Other luxury developments on the market in the Gold Coast

The hunger for high-end living in pristine positioning is as fierce as ever, especially on the Gold Coast.

Luxury developments are popping up all over the coastal city as demand increases for residences with water views and luxury resort-style facilities.

In just the last week, Urban reported that Summit 110, the Broadwater development from Centa Property Group, is also approaching sell-out.

But in case you've missed out on Cala Dei, here are a few of our favourite new luxury developments on the Gold Coast:

Located in an ideally positioned pocket between Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise, the residence is just five minutes from the Broadbeach Surf Club.
