Boutique townhouse developer Highlife Homes is approaching completion of its latest Gold Coast townhouse project, Harmoni on Hythe.

Named after its prime position on Hythe Street in Miami, the relatively untapped Gold Coast suburb between Mermaid Beach and Burleigh, the collection comprises just four four-level townhouses.

Highlife Homes, who are a one stop shop as the developer, builder, and even designer, secured the Hythe Street triple site in 2021, with the unbeatable location a big driver in the acquisition.

The development is located opposite Don MacSween Park, next to Redondo Park Tennis Club, and is a short walk to Miami Beach Surf Lifesaving Club and most importantly, just 160 metres to the sand.

Highlife is led by founders Elyse Hickey, who previously owned her own creative marketing agency, and her husband James, who has over 20 years in the building industry having ran his own carpentry business.

Harmoni on Hythe is their latest in a string of successful townhouse projects they've developed across the southern Gold Coast for over a decade.

The striking side-by-side townhouses have been cleverly designed to cater for everyone from a downsizing family with kids and grandkids, to a weekender for a Brisbane city dweller, given its location just 160 metres from the beach.

They each have four bedrooms, but the fourth bedroom, on the top level of the townhouse, is also designed to be a perfect multi-purpose space or second living room, given it opens out onto the outdoor roof terrace. That features a full outdoor barbecue kitchen, and gun barrel views to the palm tree-lined beach.

The remaining three bedrooms are located on level two of the townhouse, below the main kitchen, living and dining area on level three. Level one homes a garage, utility room, and storage space.

All up the townhouses have 245 sqm of living space including balconies, with a further 60 sqm of terraces and courtyards. Each courtyard has its own shower, an added feature designed for residents to wash off the sand, rinse the surfboard, or clean the dog.

Highlife, always one-step ahead, future-proofed the townhouses for those looking long term, installing an internal private lift in each home.

Miami Beach stands as a genuine treasure, offering a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether one is leisurely wandering along the soft sandy coast, partaking in water sports, or simply luxuriating under the warm sun, the ambiance in Miami beach sets the stage for crafting enduring moments.

“More than just an enviable address, Miami Beach holds a distinct charm,” remarks James MacQueen, Property Agent for Highlife Sales.

Miami Beach, situated upon an unspoiled and spacious shoreline, is home to a lifestyle-embracing populace. With an impressively extended 50% longer average duration of homeownership compared to the neighbouring areas of Burleigh and Mermaid, it's evident that the locals take pride in calling Miami Beach home.

The team are just putting the final touches to the townhouses, which are expected to be ready for occupancy by November.
