Grant Hackett's Gold Coast villa sells after just five days marketing
The champion Olympian swimmer Grant Hackett sold his “Millionaires’ Row” villa which was on the market for just five days

The Mermaid Beach villa of the champion Olympian swimmer Grant Hackett has found its buyer after after being on the market for just five days.
It fetched $2,625,000, according to CoreLogic.
Set on the so-called Millionaires’ Row, the three-bedroom duplex villa at 1/100 Hedges Avenue attracted three cash, unconditional offers within about 36 hours.
The contemporary home, which spans 331 square metres over four levels, was bought in 2014 for $1.5 million. It had sold at a slightly higher $1.53 million in 2013 and at $1.565m in a rebated sale in 2011.
The gold medallist has relocated to Melbourne and have used the Gold Coast property as a holiday home.
It was offered as a $1380 a week rental.
The home had been scheduled to go to Kollosche Prestige auction on May 30 before being snapped up by a buyer from Toowoomba wanting a holiday home.
