Countdown to summer: Kym Illman's Nautica at Palm Beach on the Gold Coast

If you fancy lounging in a 29-degree heated beachfront pool these summer holidays, Nautica at Palm Beach on the Gold Coast ought to be yours for $20,230 a week.

However, its availability is confined to the week before Christmas or over the Australia Day long weekend in January at $1,490 a night.

Located at 129 Jefferson Lane, Palm Beach, Queensland, the $6 million property has been featured on Channel 9’s A Current Affair and Channel 7’s Sunrise and has been voted as one of the country's best in the Australian Traveller Magazine.

Apparently Jefferson Lane is a magnet for families, movie/sports stars, business leaders and heads of state.

With five bedrooms spread out on the four-storeys, you and nine friends can stay here for a minimum of four nights.

The contemporary design boasts 180-degree uninterrupted sea views and has a four-floor elevator.

A night between Sunday and Thursday will cost $2,890 but almost quadruples to $11,560 a night if you opt for a Friday or Saturday.

Nautica last sold in 2007 for $2.9 million after being listed for 337 days.

It's been built as part of the luxury homes rental division of entrepreneur Kym Illman, the managing director of The Message Group.

He is a leader in marketeering.
