Construction starts on Ention's Taringa apartment development Déesse
Construction has began at Ention Properties boutique Taringa apartment development Déesse in Brisbane's inner-ring.
Ention, founded by Trent Thoroughgood and Dion Smith in 2013, have appointed Groupline Constructions to handle the build of the Hayes Anderson Lynch-designed development of eight, which is expected to take around 12 months to build. Completion is slated for June 2022.
The low-rise project was built on an elevated Swann Road site which allows it to take in views of the city skyline to the north east and panoramic hinterland views from the rear.
Boutique apartment blocks like Déesse are at the top of enquiry lists for many, with record price gaps between apartments and houses pricing a number of buyers out of the housing market.
The development only has three or four bedroom apartments, with floorplans ranging from 184 sqm to 283 sqm.
Ention director Trent Thoroughgood said they took collective feedback from customers and workewd with Hayes Anderson Lynch and Colliers to put the knowledge into the design of Déesse.

Each of the eight apartments share a maximum of one common wall, with just two apartments per floor.
The development is crowned by an amenity-laden rooftop with a wet edge swimming pool, lounge deck, barbecue and outdoor dining area and lawn, all with city views.
The three bedroom apartments start from $1.53 million, and the four bedroom apartments from $1,895,000.
Colliers are marketing the project.
