The residential apartment tower Assana, which will be Broadbeach's tallest, has seen 20 per cent of its 146 apartments snapped up pre-launch.

Local downsizers and upsizers have made up the bulk of purchasing so far, with a handful of buyers coming from Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.

Laver Residential Projects director James Lampropoulos says buyers are attracted to the large size of the apartments – some of the largest in the competitive Broadbeach market; limited apartments per floor; and spectacular views in every direction.

“Assana is offering spacious private spaces, and fantastic amenities that create a sense of exclusivity, and our buyers are loving that combination," Lampropoulos says.

“They’re also very reassured to know that our project is DA approved and we have one of Australia’s largest Tier one construction firms in Multiplex involved, with the expectation we’ll be breaking ground before the middle of the year."

Peter Galvin, CEO and Head of Development and Construction at Macquarie Developments Group, says the pre-sales success is undoubtedly in large part due to a design that makes no compromises on space, quality or luxury.

“Even Assana’s two and three-bedroom apartments are of house-like proportions," Galvin says.

"This is a very distinct and deliberate thing we, and our architects SJB, worked hard to achieve from the earliest stages of the project.

“These truly are homes in the sky with finishes and fixtures of the highest quality. SJB has achieved incredible view lines from every apartment — when you wake up to these views, you know you’ve made it.”

Assana is designed by SJB, a Sydney-based firm whose work includes award-winning, The Fantauzzo at Brisbane Wharves and Meriton’s Ocean, a 76-level tower currently under construction on The Esplanade in Surfers Paradise.

The slender, 52-level tower, at 15 Rosewood Avenue, will be the tallest tower in Broadbeach, topping the nearby The Oracle Beach Tower, which peaks at 50 storeys.

Two-bedroom apartments, at 128 sqm, start from $800,000, with the three-bed apartments at 140 sqm priced at $950,000.

There are a handful of four-bedroom sub-penthouses, which have 256 sqm of living space, and three exclusive whole floor penthouses with over 573 sqm of living space each.

A landscaped infinity pool on level 10 will have views of the ocean. There will also be a state-of-the-art gym, spa and sauna, a mezzanine level with a private residents’ lounge and work zones, automated valet parking, and a ground level coffee shop.
