Queensland’s vendor discounting: Which areas are worse than last year?

Vendor discounting, or the amount that a seller reduces their asking price by, is an interesting gauge of what is occurring in the markets across the country.

Property Observer casts our gaze at the latest Real Estate Institute of Queensland statistics, for the June 2014 quarter, and compared them to the June 2013 quarter to see which areas are worse off than 12 months ago.

Note: all figures represent a discount (that is, a negative percentage).
