Brisbane real estate agent discovers "chemical stockpile" during inspection

Police are conducting controlled explosions at a Brisbane property after a real estate agent discovered a "chemical stockpile" during an inspection.

The recently vacant Pullenvale property was being inspected by a real estate agent on Wednesday.

In a detached shed on the property, it is understood the agent discovered drug paraphernalia and contacted the police.

Neighbours of the Red Cedar Road property were forcibly kept away as police assessed a the chemicals.

Acting Inspector Mark Bradford told the Courier Mail that there is a concern when chemicals were kept together, but said the ones on the property were widely available.
