Swimming champion Libby Trickett and her husband Luke have listed their Seven Hills, Brisbane abode just 18 months after moving into the custom built home.

The four-time Olympic gold medallist, currently appearing on Dancing With The Stars on Channel Seven, had the three-bedroom contemporary home built on a sloping 804 square metre block that cost $695,000 in 2010.

Place New Farm agent Judy Goodger has its scheduled for October 31 auction.

The Trickett's are selling to move closer to Luke’s South Brisbane business interests.

It was designed by Brisbane architect Shaun Lockyer who was asked by the couple to create an open, breezy design.

The house features decking, floors and ceilings using recycled tallowwood from the Hornibrook Bridge at Redcliffe following its 2010 demolition.

The home has been designed to accommodate an underneath extension underneath and a backyard pool at a later date.

RP Data has the suburb's median house price at $620,000.
