Construction begins on Noosa triplex Sandpiper: Title Tattle

Construction has begun on the new Sandpiper development on Hastings Street at Noosa.

Just three full-floor apartments and two retail shops will be built on the site.

R&W Noosa co-principal Peter Butt has already sold two of the apartments.

The penthouse pricing has been revised to $9.25 million, down from its $10 million hopes last July.

Overlooking Laguna Bay, Sandpiper is positioned in the centre of the busy main street. There are also view lines to First Point as well as the Noosa North Shore and river mouth.

"The Noosa market has shown good signs of an early revival in recent months, and this new project on the beachfront is exactly the confidence booster the area needs," Butt told Noosa News.

Developed by a Victorian property investor, the Sandpiper construction is being undertaken by Calty Constructions with an expected mid-2013 completion.

The mid-floor apartment is under contract at $8 million and the ground-floor apartment at $6 million.
