The panelists on the Channel 10 hit show, The Project are not just moving to Sunday night, but have been quite active buying property in and around Melbourne.

Comedian Peter Hillier and wife Bridget have settled on a 1900 Federation family home in Melbourne, moving 15kms in from Plenty to Ivanhoe (above).

The couple's new home cost $2.55 million in the prestigious Fairy Hills location complete with backyard featuring a plumbed barbecue area adjoins the heated swimming pool and spa.

It's in the same hood as co-panelist Carrie Bickmore and her partner Chris Waller, who paid $1.59 million for a home in 2013.

Earlier this year co-host Waleed Aly spent $2.1 million on his first home in Richmond with wife Susan Carland having rented in the area for years.

Steve Price owns a Kirribilli garden apartment and a South Yarra mansion.

The show is put together by Sydney-based Rove McManus, who recently moved from Avalon to Bronte, splashing out $6.4 million on a hillside home.
