Michael and Raye Abouchabake, owners of Bowral's Cafe Rocco, have bought a family home in Bowral.

The couple have paid $1.48 million for the two storey Centennial Road home.

Hidden away behind mature plantings and deciduous trees, the home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The open plan kitchen, sun room, dedicated study and family room have views over the back garden and orchard featuring pear, apple, plum and Tahitian lime trees.

A covered rear entertaining area looks out to the garden features referred to as "Cupid's Courtyard" in the marketing.

Linda Tyler and Matthew Sparke at Duncan Hill Bowral sold the home after 44 days.

Abouchabake recently said it was sad to see the Grand Hotel, the neighbouring business, close after working alongside it for 18 years.
