The Elizabeth Bay sub-penthouse that outgoing QBE Group chief executive John Neal called home has sold for $7.5 million.

Ray White Elizabeth Bay agent Ian Campbell sold the home to Eckhart and Celia Bischoff, who were on Wolseley Road, Point Piper.

The whole floor Belltrees apartment was officially in the name of Helen Neal, who now gives her address as an old rectory in Bures, Suffolk.

Spanning 255 square metres, the apartment last traded in 2012 for $6.3 million when it was bought from Philip Wolanksi's Denwol property group.
