Television host Osher Gunsberg, who became a father for the first time with baby Wolfgang born at the weekend, also accepted a $1 million-plus offer for his redundant Bondi Beach apartment on Sunday.

His one-bedroom investment apartment (above) in the 2000-built Precinct complex cost $550,000 in 2006, when he was hosting Australian Idol.

Gunsberg and make-up artist wife Audrey Griffen have bought a four-bedroom Bronte semi (below) being marketed at $2.4 million.

The couple welcomed the arrival of their first child together (Griffen’s second) last Friday.

They met on the set of The Bachelor in 2014.

The loft-style spread with a car space and a shared rooftop terrace was sold two days prior to its scheduled auction for just above the asking price of $1 million, likely as $1.05 million.

The same investor buyer bought another in the same complex the same day for another son through McGrath agent Damian Steele.
