Olympian May Hanna snappily sells Bellarine home and equestrian centre

Five-time Olympian Mary Hanna has sold her Bellarine home and equestrian training centre.

The 80 Scotchmans Road lifestyle property was for sale through an expressions of interest campaign closing March 1.

Hanna, born Mary Sutherland, and her husband Rob Hanna, were seeking $7 million to $7.7 million for the holding.

Set on 24 ha, the property includes indoor horse-training spaces, staff accommodation, 13 stables and 13 paddocks with post and rail fencing.

The main house comes with four bedrooms and four bathrooms as well as a number of other luxuries including a pool, cellar and separate self contained apartment.

The granite residence holds views over The Heads, Melbourne, Geelong and the You Yangs.

Charles Stewart Real Estate’s Andrew Rice was handling the sale to Melbourne buyers.

It is located 25 minutes from Geelong, 10 minutes from Drysdale and its just under 10 minutes to Portarlington.
