Castle Residences, too, will see a unique fusion of luxurious living and the hotel services of the international MGallery boutique hotel brand by Accor.
A worldwide leader in the hospitality sector, AccorHotels brings together over 4,100 hotels in 95 countries, with subsidiaries including Swissôtel, Mercure and Sofitel.
Sitting within the historic Porter House, built in 1876, the MGallery hotel will rise five storeys and maintain the building’s heritage sandstone façade, while the new residential tower soars above.
Designed by architecture firm Candalepas Associates with interiors by the interior designer StudioAria, the striking modern structure appears to float over the heritage-listed building, interwoven to achieve a balance of beauty and liveability.
The Manhattan-style apartments feature sculptural cantilevers, alcoves and honeycomb-like arches.
“I can imagine, in years to come, that Porter House and the new tower building will merge into one in people’s consciousness, as if the entire assembly always coexisted”, architect Angelo Candalepas said.
Residents will experience hotel luxuries and world-class amenities offering a new level of convenience for Sydney as privileged members of the world-class AccorHotels community.
Focused on comfort and amenity, services will be accessible to residents via a personalised iPad application.
