The most expensive sale for the week ending May 5 was an undeveloped waterfront block in Cremorne, which sold for $4.925 million, according to RP Data.

Located on Wonga Road, the 1,511-square-metre block currently hosts a circa 1945 two-bedroom, one-bathroom residence.

The north facing waterfront property (pictured below) is one of the last remaining undeveloped waterfront blocks in the area and features a shared tidal pool.

The property has the potential to be subdivided or rebuilt into a contemporary family home, subject to council approval.

John Welch of McGrath Mosman secured the sale and had listed the property with a $4.8 million-plus guide.
