Leading Australian developer TOGA has brought Harris Farm to their award-nominated mixed-use development, Wicks Place, in the heart of Sydney’s Inner West.

Bringing the fresh fruit and grocery retailer’s signature market-style deli to Marrickville, the opening was celebrated through a custom mural by Sydney-based artist Nico Nicoson, whose vibrant work previously featured in Harris Farm’s Redfern store in TOGA’s Surry Hills Village development. The mural captures the soul of Marrickville through colour, community and creativity – highlighting the unique identity of the area.

This is the third Harris Farm to feature at a TOGA development, alongside TOGA’s iconic Surry Hills Village and Bondi Boheme. The newly opened retailer is the primary tenant of Wicks Place, bringing its iconic range of fresh fruit and vegetables, deli products from around the world, and the much-loved Imperfect Picks range, which saves quirky but delicious produce from waste to the Marrickville community.

Stretching across 1,825 sqm, the store is nestled between hospitality retailers Chargrill Charlies and Zambero, on the ground floor of TOGA’s Wicks Place.

Being a finalist for The Urban Developer award for Development of the Year – High-Density Residential (200+) 2025, TOGA’s Wicks Place is the first residential development in the transformation of Marrickville’s Victoria Road Precinct, delivering 270 apartments across five buildings, with ground floor retail that overlooks Wicks Park.

With only five two-bedroom apartments left, buyer sentiment has been overwhelmingly positive. As the precinct continues to come to life with the opening of Harris Farm, this is the last chance to buy into what Time Out has identified as one of the top 10 coolest suburbs in the world.

Paul Shaw, Executive General Manager at TOGA Group said, residents and locals alike are responding well to the new store.

“Wicks Place has been forged from the eclectic community of Marrickville, and to see the positive response from residents and locals alike to the opening of our key tenant, Harris Farm is fantastic," Shaw said.

"The new supermarket adds to the expansive offerings seen at the precinct and the area, from sprawling parks, warehouse-style bars, and boutique retail alongside bustling restaurants and exciting live music - residents are loving the new addition with demand high for the last remaining apartments.”
