The 10 Sydney suburbs with the highest yields for houses are within five kilometres of each other

Blackett in the outer west is the Sydney suburb with the highest rental yields for houses, according to information provided by RP Data.

The suburb has a median rental yield of 7.02% for houses with a median weekly rent of $310 and a median house price of $229,500.

The suburb is followed by neighbouring Willmot, at 6.96% with a median weekly rent of $300 and a median price of $224,250.

In fact all the suburbs in the top 10 are within a five-kilometre radius.
