As solid demand continues for apartments in Sydney’s north-west, Sekisui House Australia will soon introduce Veue Central (Veue), which will be the tallest and most prominent stage in The Orchards, Sekisui's $1 billion masterplanned community in Norwest.

Veue is located in the heart of The Orchards and will stand across six buildings ranging from 9 to 22 storeys, comprising 583 nature-inspired apartments.

Veue’s VIP release is on 1 July with the official public launch 5 August.

Award winning Crone Architects has created Veue’s residential towers with a vertical green spine complemented by an open landscaped recreational central core, connecting residents to parklands that extend from the eastern part of the site all the way to the creek in the west.

Julian Venning, Principal – Design at Crone Architects, says Veue’s design vision defers to The Orchards’ natural surrounds with residences maximising connection to the landscape and nature.

"The green of the gardens is drawn into the resident experience," Venning said.

"A sense of wellness is promoted in the design within the wonderful natural environment. A place to return to from the fast pace of the city to a garden setting for which Baulkham Hills is renowned.

“The curved form and soft corners of the building allow the towers to be seen in the round continuing greenery up the façade to integrate landscape and built form."

All apartments have views to the gardens or green edging to their balconies and have floor to ceiling glazing to capture panoramic views to nature. Veue is built around a central garden as a sustainable oasis of wellness encouraging exploration and relaxation.

“Veue is invested in a sustainable future and committed to environmental sustainability, bringing together multiple technologies to lower emissions and energy consumption as well as supporting The Orchards community,” Venning added.

David Lee, Sales Manager, Apartments & Mixed-Use Developments – The Orchards at Sekisui House Australia, expects strong interest from owner occupiers and local downsizers.

“Strong demand is expected in Veue with light-filled apartments boasting splendid uninterrupted northerly views overlooking Castle Hill Country Club, Norwest Lakes to the south and the Blue Mountains to the west," Lee said.

“It is anticipated selective owner occupiers or local downsizers moving from a larger home will purchase the exclusive upper level ‘homes in the sky’, whilst smaller apartment types (one and two-beds) will be popular choices for first home buyers and investors. Apartment configurations with additional rooms or studies will suit buyers who work from home.”

Lee says Veue will be home to state-of-the-art facilities that are unrivalled within Norwest.

"These amenities will be connected through a central open cooking and dining hub that gives parents the opportunity to relax and children the ability to play.”

Prices start from $840,000 for the one-bedroom apartments, which have up to 76 sqm of internal space. The four-bedroom penthouse, which has over 200 sqm of internal living area, is priced at $3.2 million.

A wellness centre provides a gymnasium and pool connected directly to the garden. Veue residents can entertain up to 100 guests within the adjacent communal function centre for parties and special occasions. A concierge service is also available to service the needs of all residents.

Sekisui House’s vision for The Orchards is to create a world-class sustainable and prosperous community, a place where people want to live, work and enjoy their lives. Inspired by timeless Japanese quality, homes and communities are designed to improve with time and last for generations.

The masterplan, designed by Turner, is spread across five stages. When completed, the community will comprise 1,300 apartments.

The Orchards is located approximately 31 kilometres north-west of Sydney’s CBD and is nestled in Norwest. It is strategically positioned 800 metres from Norwest Metro Train Station and 600 metres from Norwest Marketown as well as Norwest Business Park - currently housing over 30,000 employees.

Construction on Veue is expected to start in 2024.
