The NSW government will permit investors to inspect property in person during lockdown. The state government amended the wording of the public health orders on Wednesday. The orders previously stated a person could only leave home to inspect a potential new place of residence for that person. Most agents had been limiting one-on-one inspections to owner-occupiers and limiting investors to virtual inspections based on the previous orders. But legal interpretations - and even state government health department interpretations - of the prior orders had seen them as permitting investor inspections. Investors must comply with pandemic safety rules along with any bans on movement between lgas and the city and regions to look at properties.
