The June auction of 3222 Kyogle Rd, Mount Burrell drew a massive 52 online interested buyers, which Ray White calculated as topping the leaderboard for most registered bidders on any property they offered in 2020.

The 259 ha property, Tallowwood sold for $2 million through Ray White Rural Murwillumbah agents Brad Franks and Stewart Baericke at an auction conducted by Ray White NSW chief auctioneer Alex Pattaro.

The Mount Burrell property received 224 enquiries with the agents conducting 96 inspections. 

It is located 63kms from the Gold Coast Airport and 73kms from Byron Bay, marketed as one of the larger Tweed Valley landholdings.

There was freshwater Tweed River frontage, high rainfall and a number of dams.

The original three bedroom dwelling was in poor condition.It was a joint listing with Christie's Prestige agent Alex Caraco.
