Hoopers Lane, the Hunter Valley retreat of Mosman residents Peter and Helen Hooper, has been listed through Shelly Jurd of Jurd’s Real Estate.

The 20-hectare Pokolbin country estate – with boutique olive grove and cattle yards – is in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine tourist region surrounded by wineries, cellar doors and restaurants.

The Debeyers Road homestead, with its open-plan design, has a large entertainment space, vaulted ceilings, and a well-appointed kitchen.

It comes with two guest cottages.The property has three linked dams (complete with 10-megalitre irrigation licence), plus 140,000-litre underground freshwater storage.

The Hoopers bought the property for $450,000 in 1999.
