Australian poet Henry lawson continues to be regularly celebrated by estate agents.

Not through poetry recitals, but in brochures claiming Henry Lawson lived at the house they have for sale.

This is one of the several 1860s Waverton semis with links – formally recognised with a plaque – given Lawson's association.

It has been listed for September 22 auction.

It's a small two-bedroom house in a row of cottages on Euroka Street.

It's where Lawson lived between 1914 and 1921.

Locals suggest he rode billycarts up and down the hillside cul-de-sac.

He also helped maintained a community vegetable patch in the garden of the house at 31 Euroka Street, which is for sale.

Set on a 177-square-metre block, the cottage is tipped to fetch $800,000 plus through Tom Scarpignato of Sydney Boutique Property.

Lawson spent his last days at Abbotsford in 1922.
