A $4.9 million modern mansion boasting views of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House topped the list of the most expensive sales last week, according to RP Data.

Located on Wallangra Road Dover Heights, the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home sold under the hammer on May 25 through Sydney Sotherby’s International Realty inconjunction with Steven Zoellner and D’Leanne Lewis at Laing+Simmons Double Bay

Situated on 626 square metres, the home is architecturally designed based on Feng Shui principles to enhance positive energy.

There's a CaesarStone kitchen, home theatre and a teenage retreat or nanny’s quarters with a wet bar.

The home boasts a rooftop terrace with 360-degree views, an outdoor pool and barbeque terrace as well as bi-fold glass doors and high ceilings.
