The fast bowler Pat Cummins has pocketed $3.7 million in a pre-auction offer for his Clovelly apartment.

Cummins and his interior designer fiancée Becky Boston are now off to a Bronte house.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment with ocean views sold for $600,000 above its price guide ahead of its scheduled April 24 auction.

The 27-year-old test cricketer had undertaken renovations after purchasing the apartment in 2013 for $1.3 million.

The two level 1990s apartment features a 120sqm rooftop terrace.
