Double-brick Federation classic last week's most expensive sale: RP Data

The most expensive sale for the week ending May 12 was a double-brick Federation classic in Roseville, New South Wales, which sold at auction on May 11 for $3.7 million, according to RP Data.

Located on Bancroft Avenue, the property (pictured below) was listed by Jon Dundas-Smith of McGrath Estate Agents.

Situated on a 1,863-square-metre block, the home boasts six bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large wraparound verandah.

However, the tennis court and swimming pool are in need of restoration.

The home last sold in May 2005 for $3.15 million.

Victoria dominated the top 10 list last week, with a total of six properties securing spots.
