Deicorp set new Rhodes apartment record with Marquet & Mary sale
Deicorp's Marquet & Mary, the prolific developer's first apartment development in Rhodes, has got off to a flying start.
They've just secured a record two-bedroom apartment sale for the suburb, with an 87 sqm apartment on the 30-th level of the 32-level tower selling for $1.72 million.
The price was driven both by the track record that Deicorp is bringing to Rhodes, and the sweeping views the apartment will offer.
Interest in the project has been high since the unveiling of its display suite at suite 803/5 Rider Boulevard, Rhodes, less than 300 metres from the site of the development at 1-9 Marquet Street.
Marquet & Mary offers a total of 212 apartments in a building designed by popular architect Fender Katsalidis who were appointed after winning a design excellence competition last year.
The tower's apartments range from one to three bedrooms, with views either towards the Sydney skyline to the east or the Blue Mountains to the west.
The apartments will sit above a four-level podium that will include commercial and retail space. Residents will also have access to a rooftop terrace and garden, as well as another courtyard garden.
Deicorp has had overwhelming success at the first stage of its other recently launched apartment development, Melrose Central.
CBRE took 50 contracts over the first weekend of its launch. Melrose Central will deliver a new community in the heart of the new Melrose Park Town Centre, on the edge of the Parramatta River. It will comprise around 500 apartments set above 30,000 sqm of retail and commercial space.
