Bloodstock boss James Harron and his wife Alison, having sold last year in Paddington, are now owners in Dural.

The couple have bought Aveley, which was marketed as one of Sydney’s finest equestrian acreages through Christie’s International.

The six-bedroom Hamptons-style home on two hectares came with a $6.5 million asking price but was secured for $5.75 million.

It was bought from David Ansell, the chairman of the Jacobs Douwe Egberts coffee company.

Ansell has upgraded nearby, spending $7.3 million on a 4 hectare holding.
