Two apartments in developer Garry Rothwell’s Winten Group were sold last week. The first sale was when the pharmaceutical entreprenuer David Duchen sold his three bedroom Potts Point sub-penthouse for $7.05 million at 22/22 Wylde Street following the death of his wife, Brenda Duchen last year. Duchen’s adjoining three bedroom investment apartment then sold for about $4 million, used by nursing care staff having previously been a $1800 a week rental. The two apartments were developed by Garry Rothwell’s Winten Group costing $2.65 million in 2001 and then the second for $2.75 million in 2009. Their son Steve Duchen purchased the nearby Omnia penthouse and a studio two years ago for $15.7 million.
