A former milk factory has been listed in the Jamberoo Valley in the NSW south coast with price hopes of $1.45 million.
The 1928 factory was converted into a three-bedroom home by two artists, the current owners, 13 years ago.
The Factory Lane home includes a roller door entry into a foyer used as a studio.
They kept the original cast-iron staircase and an imposing wall of control panels used by the former factory.
The house also features a casual dining area, an eat-in kitchen, a casual living area, a formal living and dining area, a gallery space, a guest wing and a large storage area. Upstairs is another living space and a separate studio.
Painter and photographer Bill Zimpel and ceramics artist Judit are moving to Perth to be closer to their grandchildren.
The Zimpels bought the property for $220,000 in 1997.
The property is currently listed with Adam Guthrie Lifestyle Property.
