The Shire-bound radio presenter Matt de Groot has sold his Mosman apartment for a bullish $975,000 pre-auction.

The apartment that he’s called home with wife, journalist Bronte Coy, for the last three years, was initially listed with $950,000 hopes before they revised it to $900,000 midway through the marketing.

The couple plan to move to the Shire where Coy’s family live.

De Groot, sidekick to Fitzy and Wippa on Nova FM, paid $815,000 for the two-bedroom apartment in 2016.

The 95 square metre courtyard apartment, with a study nook, was sold by Ray White Lower North Shore agent Lewis Adams.
