Newsreader Natalie Barr sells Mosman family home

Channel 7 morning newsreader Natalie Barr has sold her Mosman family home for $2,891,999 at auction.

LJ Hooker Mosman agents Geoff Smith and Richard Harding were expecting between $2.5 million and $2.75 million for the property.

Barr had brought her auction date forward from its scheduled March 31 auction. given strong buying interest. There were three bidders.

The four bedroom home - renovated since bought in 2002 at $1.28 million - comes with views of the Sydney harbour. It was the year she became the Sunrise newsreader.

Barr and husband Andrew Thompson are upgrading to a $3.2 million home round the corner.
