Comparison website comparethemarket.com.au has launched a new home loan comparison service in partnership with mortgage broker group AFG.

Spokesperson Abigail Koch noted that the launch of this new home loan comparison portal is due to an increasing number of consumers heading online to find a home loan.

This new service allows prospective mortgage holders to avoid filling out repetitive forms, and ensures you can compare loan products.

Access to brokers that cover more than 1,350 products from 29 lenders is also provided through the AFG partnership.

“With the average Australian mortgage approaching $444,000, it’s crucial consumers do their homework when it comes to choosing the right home loan for them," said Koch.

“Our service takes the hard work out of shopping around, enabling people to compare products more easily, and only deal with one experienced broker throughout their financial journey, who has knowledge of over a thousand different home loan options,” she said.
