New Farm dress circle apartment hits the market
A dress circle apartment in the Aquila block on New Farm's near waterfront has hit the market.
The 265 sqm Moray Street apartment spanning the whole top floor is one of just 10 in the exclusive block that was completed a decade ago.
The unit features a blend of marble, stone and timbers.
The master suite is separated from the other two bedrooms, while the kitchen and living space opens to the outdoor entertaining terrace with uninterrupted views of the Story Bridge.
Hutton & Hutton agents Peter Hutton and Angelo Zardo have a guide of $3 million to $3.2 million for the apartment that last traded for $2.55 million in 2013.
The highest price came last year when Lynnly Chalk, wife of psychiatrist John Chalk, spent $6.5 million on a 330 sqm unit, an apartment record for New Farm.
It topped the previous $6.2 million, also set in Aquila, from 2009 when former rugby league legend Rodney Morris, who later became a successful franchisee of McDonalds, and wife Robyn, bought into the block on its completion.
With views of the Story Bridge, the block was undertaken by Tom Dooley with its design by Plazibat + Jemmott.
