The vacant land parcel bought for a New Farm record by Corporate Travel Management founder Jamie Pherous last year now has plans tabled for an ultra-modern home.

Pherous paid $11.3 million for the 1,100 square metres Moray Street block of land last year and said he had intentions to build one of Brisbane's best houses.

The land previously belonged to Jane Gibson, the widow of Brisbane architect Robin Gibson. They paid $200,000 for the block in 1986.

The proposal is for a Tim Stewart Architects designed four level, seven bedroom home.

The upper ground level will comprise a media room, office, study, laundry and combined living, dining and kitchen terrace at the rear.

Level one will include a master suite with dressing room, ensuite. There will be a further five ensuited bedrooms.

On the fourth level, there will be a roof terrace with another swimming pool, an entertainment room with kitchenette and guests quarters.
