Channel 7 Sunrise celebrity gossip presenter Nelson Aspen featured prominently in the New York Times Sunday Real Estate section last weekend.

It was about his extended search to upgrade from his studio apartment abode to a one bedder in New York after selling his Los Angeles place for $US665,000.

He's bought on the Upper West Side for $475,000, and tweeted all about it.

No one has been that interested to retweet, however.

The article doesn't say but he did okay with the mid-Wilshire LA place having paid $225,000 in 1997. It was a 1924  three bedder with Spanish Mission roofing. Aspen initially sought $699,000.
