NBN director Michael Malone, who was the co-founder of internet service provider giant iiNet, has listed Aberdeen, his Southern Highlands retreat.

Malone paid $4.65 million for the 43 hectare estate in 2014, shortly after retired from the company he set up in 1993.

He bought the sprawling Fitzroy Falls property from Rex Airlines founder Michael Jones and wife Michelle.

The country manor, with Paul Bangay gardens, has been listed through Richardson & Wrench Bowral agents Michael Maloney and Hamish Robertson.

In the grounds there's a floodlit tennis court, a pavilion with heated spa, barbecue and pizza oven, as well as a veggie garden, chook pen and orchard.

There are eight paddocks and a timber barn and shed. It has previously been an Angus operation.
