Nangunia Station, a mixed farming operation in the southern Riverina region of NSW, has been listed with $5.5 million hopes through Elders Deniliquin agent Matt Horne.

The homestead was built for Emmanuel Gorman, who arrived in Berrigan in 1888 as a stock and station agent who sent onto be the first president of Berrigan Shire Council.

The double-brick homestead, with billiards room, features polished Murray Pine floorboards, tiled foyer, stained glass windows, pressed-metal ceilings and 10 fireplaces

There's a five-stand shearing shed on the 1803ha holding offered by the Steel family.

Located 6km from Berrigan and 40km from Mulwala, Nangunia has 1090ha under crop and runs about 1600 Merino breeding ewes joined for first-cross lamb production, and for wool.
