Mirvac's Gary Flowers set to depart in October

Mirvac Group has announced that Gary Flowers will be leaving in October 2013.

Gary Flowers has been with Mirvac since 2008 having been initially appointed chief operating officer of the funds management division, before taking on the role of chief operating officer at Mirvac.

Since January 2013, he has been group executive, business initiatives.

Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz, the managing director said Gary had played a key role in rebuilding and restructuring the business after the global financial crisis.

Flowers, a former chief of the Australian Rugby Union, plans to pursue a portfolio of executive and board work.

He is currently a non- executive director of DataDot Ltd and Ethiad Stadium, and the chairman of Mainbrace Constructions.
