Boutique developer milieu Property is getting behind Oxfam's Trailwalker with four members of the milieu crew committing to walk 100km in under 48hrs through steep and rough bush terrain from Lysterfield to Farifield commencing on Friday 29th March.

According to milieu, despite recognising that the 100km walk represents a "huge undertaking," the team says it's thrilled to be part of an event which "has raised over $74 million dollars in Australia since its antipodean inception."

The four man team comprising Michael McCormack, Daniel Condon, Shannon Peach  and Tomothy Biggs aim to complete the walk in 30hrs.

"At milieu, adding back to our global community is an important goal for us, so this year we have decided to tackle the Oxfam Trailwalker 100km challenge. Four of us will be trekking 100km through rough terrain, up to 600 metres in altitude, to raise money for Oxfam to fight poverty and injustice throughout the world, through education, ensuring access to clean water and food and advocacy work."

Oxfam Australia works with local communities to help them create their own sustainable solutions to poverty by promoting education, ensuring access to clean water, teaching skills to grow food and advocating for their basic rights.

Oxfam says the money raised as part of Oxfam Trailwalker will go towards making a significant difference to people living in poverty around the world.
