Action movie director/producer Michael Bay has listed his Montecito, California mansion with $6.8 million hopes. The 502-square-metre, four-bedroom house has an infinity pool, one-bedroom guest house and lush landscaping. It is being marketed by Sotheby's agent Suzanne Perkins.

Bay, the director of Hollywood blockbusters such as the Transformers franchise, Pearl Harbour and Armageddon, bought the Jan Hochhauser-designed property in 1997.

Bay's net worth has been estimated at $500 million, thanks almost entirely to explosions, Ben Affleck, Shia Labeouf and pretty girls on motorcycles.
