Marshall White & Co head Australia's top 10 leading estate agents while McGrath dominates
Australia's 10 top performing real estate agents have been revealed at the AREC conference on the Gold Coast today.
The annual ranking, partnered by RP Data and industry publication, Real Estate Business, rated 100 agents across several criteria including sales volumes, sales numbers and average sale prices.
James Tostevin of Marshall White & Co in Melbourne took out first place with the 18 year veteran securing 144 sales during 2012, with a total volume exceeding $203 million.
His colleague Marcus Chiminello was in second place at $181 million.
McGrath Estate Agents dominated the top 10 list with five entrants, the top being Wayne Vaughan at $115 million in sales just ahead of Adrian Bo's $113 million.
New South Wales agents dominated the top 10 list with six salesmen.

10. Peter Chauncy (McGrath, Naremburn)
Almost 300 agents entered their results for ranking this year. Applicants must nominate themselves and provide details of their sales in the last 12 months.
