A sub-penthouse South Melbourne apartment that appeared on The Block Sky High series in 2013 is back up for sale.

It was designed by Sydneysiders Madi and Jarrod Coppock in the green-orientated refurbishment of a former 1960s motel which now comes with an 8 star rating.

The four bedroom apartment, with enclosed sandstone terrace, finished runner up in the season finale, falling short of the prize by $4,000 after scoring a $1,601,000 auction result.

John Holdsworth from Greg Hocking Holdsworth are marketing the four bedroom, three bathroom apartment for an October 14 auction with $1.8 million to $1.95 million price guidance.

They aren't marketing it as a former Block product.
