Lisa Ho relists 1880s Randwick abode with shrunken $3 million plus hopes
Fashionista Lisa Ho has relisted her four bedroom Randwick residence, Silverton.
It has $3 million plus hopes at its September 14 auction through McGrath agent Adrian Bo.
The Randwick home on 626 square metres was listed for sale in 2011 with hopes of more than $4.5 million.
Lisa Ho bought the freestanding, circa-1884 Italianate residence in 2010 for $4 million from interior designer Ros Palmer.
It is one of three Dutruc Street residences collectively known as "the judges' houses".
The Dutruc Street property previously traded in 1985 for $266,000 with Palmer creating a stunning drawing room with fireplaces flanked by bookshelves and English oak-panelling.
Property Observer notes there are no dealings ontitle other than the original Westpac purchase mortgage.
RP Data puts the median Randwick house price at $1.43 million, which is down 3.4% over the past year, but up 9.9% over the past five years.
The fashion designer Lisa Ho and ragtrader Philip Smouha sold their 380-square-metre retail premises in Queen Street, Woollahra for $3.9 million to a company called Flocolo 1 Pty Ltd, whose shareholder is Charlotte MacKenzie, the bookseller wife of Adrian MacKenzie, the private equity entreprenuer.
