The longtime landscape designer Scott Wynd, who has won gold at the Chelsea Flower Show, has sold his Warrandyte North property.

Wynd's Stony Creek Road offering was listed with Jellis Craig Eltham agent Chris Chapman who had a $1.4 million to $1.5 million price guide.

It fetched $1.41 million.

Wynd had the house built on its 2,535 square metre holding 12 years ago in a contemporary Australian style.

The garden has private nooks and sitting areas behind its hand-crafted automated gates.

The family plan to move closer to Warrandyte to build again.

Wynd was part of the garden team that won gold at the world-famous flower Show, which was an Australian first, in 2005.
