The gothic revival Kew residence, d’Estaville, now set in Rick Eckersley-designed gardens has been listed with $10 million plus hopes.

James Tostevin, of Marshall White, is seeking expressions of interest until May 2.

The residence at 7 Barry Street was built in 1859 by Knight & Kerr architects — who designed Victoria’s Parliament House.

The Kew mansion - now restored throughout - was built for Victoria’s first attorney general, Sir William Stawell, who later became chief justice.

The five bedroom house with numerous formal and informal living rooms sits on a 2557sq m block.

Kew's median house price sits at $2,010,000, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
