Karen Michael, daughter of the late property mogul David Burger has sold her Dover Heights home for an undisclosed price.

The Wentworth Street home was offered with a $7.5 million - $8 million price guide.

Michael is headed to Tamarama where she smashed the previous suburb record paying $15.8 million.

Michael bought her Dover Heights home in 1996 when, aged just 20, she paid $760,000 for the clifftop house and rebuilt it into a three-level residence with panoramic views from the ocean to the city skyline.

The five bedroom, four bathroom abode sits on a 936 sqm block.

Ray White Double Bay’s Ashley Bierman was responsible for both the sale of her former Dover Heights home and her off market purchase in Tamarama.

She purchased the home from Annie Conley, daughter of the late aviation pioneer and philanthropist John Conley who paid $13 million for the home.
