Hawkins’ first home was a three-bedroom house in Merewether, near Newcastle, which she bought for $469,000 in 2006 and sold two years ago for $782,355.
It was part of her then more expansive property portfolio.
Hawkins and Wall bought adjoining blocks in 2014 for $4 million that secured Jacaranda Cottage and the lesser, Blois Cottage through LJ Hooker agent David Watson.
The properties were once part of the longtime estate of the former politician William Wentworth.
The couple's Pittwater home building proposal was costed at $2 million in construction.
