Inglis' Cobbitty estate listed for May auction
Heriot, a Cobbitty estate owned by Jamie Inglis, of the Inglis Bloodstock family, and his wife Sarah has been listed with $2.9 million-plus hopes for May 25 auction through Ray White Camden agent Stuart Davies.
Located 70 kilometres west of Sydney, the 48-hectare estate has been listed with the couple off to Mudgee after 13 years at the property.
The Colonel Pye Drive property has 10 paddocks, eight dams, a 50-megalitre bore, plus stables, horse arena and cattle yards.
There also the two-storey, three-bedroom residence and guesthouse within Michael Bligh landscaped gardens with pool and floodlit tennis court.
''Heriot's undulating pastures would suit a variety of agricultural pursuits or families seeking a peaceful rural lifestyle close to the city,'' Stuart Davies said.
''The size and quality of the land are the drawcards.''
Many generations after Williams Inglis started the Inglis company in 1867, the family is still at the helm with Jamie among its directors.
